New Zealand delivered an impressive performance on Saturday to thrash Australia 43-5 at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney.

The All Blacks outscored the Wallabies by six tries to one to register their biggest win against their Trans-Tasman rivals and retain the Bledisloe Cup for an 18th consecutive year.

Fly-half Richie Mo'unga dotted down twice for the All Blacks while Karl Tu'inukuafe, Dane Coles, Rieko Ioane and Jordie Barrett also crossed the whitewash. Mo'unga also kicked five conversions and a penalty for a 23-point haul.

Noah Lolesio, who scored his first Test try for Australia, registered the only points on the board for the hosts.

The game doubled up as the opening match of this year's Rugby Championship as well as the third Test of the Bledisloe Cup. Defending champions South Africa are not participating in the Rugby Championship due to player welfare concerns and disruptions arising from the coronavirus pandemic.

New Zealand holds a 2-0 lead in the four-game series following a 16-16 draw in the first game in Wellington and a 27-7 win in Auckland earlier this month.

The two sides will face off again in Brisbane on November 7.
