A large group of rioters continue to damage public properties and buildings extensively across Kowloon, Hong Kong Island and the New Territories on Friday. They have also damaged shops, occupied major roads and set fire at various MTR stations and damaged facilities and ATM machines. Some rioters attacked police officers by throwing petrol bombs and attempted to take away police's pistol dropped on the ground.

Hong Kong police say an undercover officer fired a live round as he was under attack. The police lost his pistol magazine during the attack.

Police warn all rioters to stop all illegal acts and leave immediately, and appeal to all members of the public to stay in safe places.

Meanwhile, a Hong Kong court has declined injunction to suspend the newly enacted anti-mask law.
