The driver of the lorry in which 39 people were found dead in a container on Wednesday has been charged with manslaughter, Essex police said.
Additionally, Maurice Robinson, 25, has been charged with people trafficking, immigration and money laundering offences.
Robinson is scheduled to appear in court on Monday having been in police custody since his arrest on Wednesday.
Eight women and 31 men were found dead inside a refrigerated container lorry in Grays, UK.
The case is said to be the largest murder investigation in the history of Essex Police.
