One of the Zambian firms participating at the second China International Import Expo said on Wednesday that it will use the event to break into the global markets.

Moringa Wonder Plus, which is produces organic products from a famous tree moringa, said participating at the expo, which runs from Nov. 5 to 10, gives it an opportunity to open bigger markets.

“The China expo is very important to us. Simply put, it means that we are given an opportunity to take that big step to jump from where we are, cross borders and beyond borders,” Ernest Nyambe, the company’s managing director said.

He said participating at the expo was the biggest opportunity that any company would be given as it will provide his company an opportunity to market its products to buyers from all over the world.

The company, he said, will ensure that it captures all the opportunities that will come its way at the expo and added that the granting of Zambia as a guest country of the expo gives firms an added advantage.

With over one billion people, he said China offers an incredible market and that his firm was ready to meet the demand.

According to him, the company was able to handle 20 tons of moringa powder, 1,000 liters of moringa seed oil and 20 million capsules made out of organically grown moringa.
