Liverpool will make a late decision on the availability of Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
The 27-year-old has been recovering from an ankle issue which he picked up in the Reds 3-1 win over Manchester City on 10 November.
The issue ruled him out of his country's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier matches against Kenya and Comoros.
"Yesterday he trained. He trained the whole time since he was here, but only the things we wanted him to do," Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said on Friday.
"Today is another important session to see how it looks and we can make the decision. It's not that it got worse but it's still kind of there, that's the problem. We have to be sensible with things like this.
"But I didn't make the decision. If I would have made a decision, I probably wouldn't have told you now, but it's true I have to see the session today."
Salah has been pivotal in Liverpool's title charge so far this season, scoring six goals and assisting three more.
Liverpool currently sit on top of the Premier League chart with 34 points from 12 games, eight ahead of second places Leicester City.
The Reds however have some good news as captain Jordan Henderson and defender Virgil van Dijk are all fit for Saturday's game.
