Egyptair to resume flights to Baghdad on Saturday

Egyptian national carrier Egyptair will resume flights to Baghdad on Saturday after assessing the security situation, the airline said on Twitter.

Egyptair had suspended flights for three days on Wednesday, citing instability in the Iraqi capital.

The national career suspend its flights to the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, for three days starting from Wednesday because of the unstable security situation in Iraq.

In a statement,the airline noted "The action was taken for the safety of our passengers and planes and until the security situation stabilizes in the city.”

On Wednesday the morning Iran fired a dozen of missiles into Iraq targeting U.S. bases.However American President Donald Trump hours later announced that no single American soldier was harmed during the dawn attacks.
