Senegalese President Macky Sall on Thursday met with leaders from the United Arab Emirates for bilateral talks.

President Sall met with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, and also met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and ruler of the Emirate of Dubai.

President Sall is conducting an official visit to the United Arab Emirates with the aim of strengthening ties between the two sides.

"I am delighted to welcome my friend, President Macky Sall of Senegal. We discussed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral ties as well as regional and global developments," Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said on Twitter.

"We have a unified vision about the importance of security and stability in building societies and countries."

President Sall and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed witnessed the signing of various cooperation agreements between Senegal and the UAE.

"We have a shared keenness to diversify and expand cooperation between our countries to serve our mutual interests." Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed added.

Senegal's Presidency said various top business men from the UAE are attracted by the investment opportunities that the West African country has to offer.
