At least 210 patients have died from the Covid-19 virus, BBC Persian reported, citing sources from the country's health care system.

The highest death toll is reportedly in the capital Tehran. This is followed by the holy city of Qom, which is located very close to the capital and is where the virus first originated, hospital sources in the country told BBC.
