A Brazilian government official who attended an official meeting with the U.S. President Donald Trump last week has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to reports, Fabio Wajngarten, President Jair Bolsonaro's communications secretary, is awaiting the results of a second test.

Wajngarten was part of the officials who attended President Trump's meeting in Florida on Saturday.

Brazil's presidency is yet to comment on the reports, but the country's health minister Luiz Henrique Mandetta, said Bolsonaro would be monitored if Wajngarten tested positively.
