Kenya registered nine more coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours following the announcement made by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday. According to Kenyatta this raised the total number of confirmed cases in Kenya, since the virus was first detected on March 13, to 234.
However the number of recoveries remained 53, as announced by Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe in the daily COVID-19 briefing on Wednesday but the number of deaths had risen to 11.
