A further 77 people have died in the United Kingdom after testing positive for the coronavirus.This is the lowest since the lockdown started.

The Department of Health figures take total deaths in all settings - including care homes - to 40,542.

The latest daily update also showed another 1,326 people had tested positive for COVID-19 after 142,123 tests were carried out.

Scotland and Northern Ireland reported no new coronavirus deaths for the first time since lockdown was announced, according to the countries' health authorities.
