A governor in Kenya on Saturday escaped unhurt after a helicopter he was travelling in crashed.

Narok County governor Samuel Ole Tunai was among four passengers on board the chopper that crashed some 150 kilometers north of the capital, Nairobi.

The passengers have been rushed to a medical facility within the county for medical assessment.

Tunai was returning home from a burial when the crash occurred.

The cause of the crash is yet to be established.
