The number of COVID-19 cases in the United States surpassed the 15 million mark on Tuesday as the country continues to see a steady surge in its caseload.
According to the Johns Hopkins University, the country had reported 15,019,092 confirmed infections by Tuesday afternoon with 284,887 deaths.
