The Confederation of African Football earlier this week announced the fixtures for the Confederation Cup second preliminary round.

Defending champions RS Berkane of Morocco will take on Tevragh-Zeina of Mauritania for a place in the next round while last season's runners-up Pyramids F.C. of Egypt will face Al Ittihad of Libya.

Other eye-catching matches will see Bloemfontein Celtic (South Africa) play Rivers United (Nigeria), US Monastir (Tunisia) play Al Ahly Tripoli (Libya), AS Kigali (Rwanda) play Kampala Capital City Authority (Uganda).

Elsewhere, 2015 finalists Orlando Pirates will tackle Esperanca Sagrada of Angola, Salitas F.C. of Burkina Faso will play Al Amal Atbara of Sudan and Cameroon's Coton Sport will play Green Eagles of Zambia.

Other matches: Renaissance (Chad) v ES Setif (Algeria); US Gendarmerie Nationale (Niger) v JS Kabylie (Algeria); TAS Casablanca (Morocco) v ESAE (Benin); ASC Jaraaf (Senegal) v FC San Pedro (Cote d'Ivoire); Namungo (Tanzania) v Al Hilal Obeid (Sudan); Napsa Stars (Zambia) v UD Songo (Mozambique); Bravos Maquis (Angola) v DC Motema Pembe (DR Congo).

The first legs of this round will be played from December 22-23 while the second legs will be played from January 5-6.
