The New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Monday that beginning on Tuesday, British Airways will require passengers on UK flights to NY to show a negative COVID-19 test before departure. 

"We are in conversations with Delta and Virgin Atlantic to do the same. We can't let history repeat itself with this new virus variant," Mr. Cuomo submitted.

This comes even as the world shut its door on Britain over the emergence of a new variant of the coronavirus.
