Russian President Vladimit Putin will receive the SputnikV coronavirus vaccine, the Kremlin spokesman told state TV channel Rossiya 1, but no date has been set yet.
"He said he will be vaccinated, he made this decision and was waiting until all formalities are completed," said Dmitry Peskov.
Russia rolled out a voluntary vaccination drive using the SputnikV earlier in December, starting with the most vulnerable groups.
By Sunday, the country had reported more than 3.01 million COVID-19 infections and over 54,000 deaths, according to data from the Johns Hopkins University.
