The fixture list and schedule for Pakistan Women's limited-overs tour of South Africa was confirmed by Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Monday.

The tour, which will begin on January 20, features three ODIs and as many T20s with all matches confirmed as day matches due to the current curfew in force across the country.

Late last month, South Africa extended a nationwide curfew from 9pm to 6am (local time), until at least January 15, following a surge in new infections driven by a new COVID-19 variant.

The Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Ground in Durban will be the venue of all six matches of the two limited-overs series. The ODIs, which will take place on January 20, 23 and 26, will start at 10:00am (local time) while the T20s, which will take place on January 29 and 31 and February 3, will commence at 15:30pm (local time).

South Africa, which has already settled in the bio-secure environment, is scheduled to play an internal match on January 14 in Pietermaritzburg as a warm-up match ahead of its first series in 10 months.

Proteas head coach Hilton Moreeng said he was happy every member of the squad was present and they could begin their preparations for the games against Pakistan.

"The fitness test has gone well with the players and we are impressed with the fitness levels of our squad considering the lengthy break. We want to give a big thanks to the entire medical staff that has worked around the clock to ensure our players are ready and acclimatizing well into the bubble.

The importance of this series is to ensure that we find our feet very quickly back into the demands of international cricket and our visitors offer us that opportunity," Moreeng said.

"Thus far the squad is good spirits, happy to be back given the opportunity to do what they love and we as the technical team have to make sure that the players are ready when the matches start."
