French rugby head coach Fabien Galthie has positive for COVID-19, AFP reports quoting the French Rugby Federation.
The positive resulted returned after a second test for the 51-year-old tactician.
The development comes after a member of France's technical staff tested positive for COVID-19 following Sunday's Six Nations win over Ireland.
A statement later revealed that all players tested negative, but that Galthie was to be retested due to 'a suspicious and unproven case'.
All players and the technical staff are now in isolation ahead of another round of testing on Wednesday.
The French rugby federation confirmed that the Ireland squad had not been impacted by the positive case within the French coaching staff.
