The agency's COVID-19 dashboard showed that the number of COVID-19-inflicted deaths in Africa has reached 101,350.
A total of 3,383,956 people infected with COVID-19 have so far recovered across the continent, it said.
South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt and Ethiopia are the countries worst affected by COVID-19 in Africa in terms of the number of confirmed cases, according to the Africa CDC.
South Africa has reported the highest COVID-19-inflicted deaths in Africa followed by Egypt and Morocco most deaths.
