France is set to ease its COVID-19 border restrictions for seven countries, but travelers arriving into the country will still have to produce negative test results from within 72 hours before departure.
The foreign ministry announced on Thursday that people arriving from the U.K., Israel, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia will no longer "need to have a compelling reason to travel to France."
It also announced the expansion of "accepted compelling reasons" for travelers from other countries.
