Kenya's health ministry on Sunday announced that it has recorded 234 new coronavirus cases, raising the country's total tally to 246,530 cases.

492 people have recovered from the disease. The number of total recoveries is now at 237,295.

Unfortunately, 9 people have succumbed to the disease. Total fatalities from COVID-19 now stand at 4,989.

A total of 3,351,109 COVID-19 vaccines had been administered across the country, 2,492,173 being first doses while 858,936 are second doses.
