China beat Vietnam 3-2 in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. China opened the score through Zhang Yuning in the 53rd minute. Wu Lei doubled the host's tally in the 75th minute. 

Ho Tan Tai pulled one back for the visitors in the 80th minute with Nguyen Tien then made it two for Vietnam. However China got their third and a winning goal through Wu Lei who scored in the 95th minute.
