Neither Kenya nor Rwanda will participate at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after both sides lost their latest qualifier games to end any hopes of making it to the prestigious tournament.
Kenya lost 1-0 at home to Mali to remain on 2 points from four games, leaving them unable to catch up with the West Africans, who currently top Group E with 10 points with two games to go.
Rwanda, also in the same Group, also lost to Uganda to stay in last place with a single point from four games.
The next round of Group games will be played in November, as Uganda and Mali fully focused on progression into the next round of qualifying.
The Cranes are scheduled to play Kenya on November 11, with their final Group game being a clash against Mali three days later. Before that game, the current table-toppers will face Rwanda on November 11.
