Fiji has recorded 51 new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths on Monday.
Ministry of Health permanent secretary James Fong said the epidemic curve depicts the daily positive cases since the second wave of this outbreak began in April 2021.
Overall for this second wave, there have been 51,958 cases recorded, with 71 percent of the cases from the Central Division, 27 percent of the cases from the Western Division, and 2 percent of the cases from the Eastern and Northern Divisions.
There have been 673 deaths due to COVID-19 in Fiji, with 671 during the outbreak that started in April this year.
