Liverpool brushed Manchester United aside on Sunday with a one-sided display at Old Trafford to move back into second place, a point behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.
The in-form Mohamed Salah enjoyed yet another remarkable outing, scoring a hat-trick and assisting one goal.
The Merseysiders opened the scoring in the 5th minute through Naby Keita, who latched on to a perfectly-weighted Salah pass to get the game going.
Diogo Jota converted a Trent Alexander-Arnold cross eight minutes later, as the Reds continued to dominate the game.
Salah got his first in the 38th minute before adding a second in first half stoppage time to ensure his side went into the break with a healthy lead.
The Egyptian completed his hattrick in the 50th minute, becoming the first player to score a Premier League hat-trick at Old Trafford.
Things got worse for the hosts as Paul Pogba, who was brought on at the start of the second half, was shown a straight red card for a tackle on Keita.
Manchester United have now gone four Premier League games without a win, their last victory coming against West Ham on September 19.
Liverpool are now in second place on the Premier League standings with 21 points from nine games,
Manchester United on the other hand are seventh with 14 points from a similar number of matches.
