Infections are up slightly on the 40,954 reported on Tuesday, while deaths are down on yesterday's figure of 263.
However, it's worth noting that Tuesday's figures were skewed slightly due to a technical issue.
Those figures included 72 hours of data from Wales, meaning the United Kingdom total was inflated by the number of deaths that should have been recorded over the previous three days.
Meanwhile the Kingdom could see a fifth vaccine added to its armoury after Novavax submitted its data to the UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for approval.
Phase Three trial showed the vaccine offers 100 percent protection against severe disease.
The company behind the jab is anticipating a "positive decision" from the regulator, and the UK has ordered 60 million doses of the jab.
Stanley Erck, the company's president and chief executive, said: "This submission brings Novavax significantly closer to delivering millions of doses of the first protein-based COVID-19 vaccine, built on a proven, well-understood vaccine platform that demonstrated high efficacy against multiple strains of the coronavirus.
