Nottingham Forest delivered one of the performances of the fourth round of the FA Cup by defeating defending champions Leicester City 4-1 at the City Ground on Sunday.
The Championship side struck thrice in nine first-half minutes to race into a 3-0 lead after just 32 minutes.
Philip Zinckernagel opened the scoring in the 23rd minute before Brennan Johnson doubled the home side's lead just a minute later. Joe Worrall made it 3-0 shortly after the half hour mark as another upset in the world's oldest cup competition.
Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho pulled one back for Leicester five minutes before the break as the Premier League club went trailing 3-1 at half-time.
Djed Spence restored Forest's three-goal lead in the 61st minute, an advantage they would hold on for the rest of the game as Leicester failed to muster any clear-cut chances to get themselves back in the match.
The win meant Nottingham Forest has now eliminated the last two teams to have won the FA Cup having defeated Arsenal, another Premier League club, 1-0 in the third round.
Nottingham Forest's reward is a fifth round match against fellow Championship side Huddersfield.
