Hundreds of Moroccans on Monday gathered to pay their last respects to "little Rayan", the five-year-old boy who died after being trapped in a well for four days.
Rayan Oram fell down the 32m (104ft) well on 1 February, prompting painstaking efforts to rescue him.
The boy was pulled out Saturday night by rescuers after a strenuous operation that captured global attention.
The funeral took place after noontime prayers in Ighran, a village in the mountainous area in northern Morocco. The boy was laid to rest in a plot among other family members at the hilltop Zawiya cemetery, 6 kilometers away from the village.
