English Premier League clubs on Tuesday unanimously agreed to suspend the league's agreement with Russian broadcast partner Rambler (Okko Sport) with immediate effect.
The clubs also agreed to donate £1million to support the people of Ukraine.
This comes following Russia's ongoing military operation in Ukraine.
Since the launch of the operation on February 24, various continental and global sports federations have cancelled their presence in Russia as part of efforts to pressure Moscow into ending the operation.
Since the weekend, Premier League clubs held displays in support of Ukraine.
"The £1million donation will be made to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to deliver humanitarian aid directly to those in need," a statement from the Premier League said in part.
