Egyptian President Abdel Fattal el-Sisi on Monday met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan in Sharm El Sheikh for bilateral talks.
According to the Crown Prince, the two leaders "discussed ways to further boost our deep ties and areas of continued cooperation to benefit our two nations. Our talks also covered the latest international developments."
Egypt and the United Arab Emirates enjoy warm relations and have cooperation deals in place across various issues.
Monday's meeting comes six weeks after the two leaders met in Beijing, China, on the sidelines of the luncheon hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping in honor of the heads of state and government that participated in the opening ceremony of the XXIV Olympic Winter Games.
Presiden el-Sisi and bin Zayed Al-Nahyan also met in January during an official visit by the Egyptian leader to Abu Dhabi.
The warm relations between Egypt and the UAE have seen Cairo attract massive investment from Emirati firms.
