Seychelles President Wavel Ramkalawan on Sunday traveled to the United Arab Emirates to attend the upcoming World Government Summit in Dubai.

Ramkalawan will join other thought leaders, global experts and decision-makers from around the globe for the Summit scheduled to take place in tandem with the closing of "Expo 2020 Dubai."

The Summit will be held under the theme "Shaping Future Governments," and it aims to provide a platform for the attendees to share and contribute to the development of tools, policies, and models that are essential in shaping future governments.

Ramkalawan will be participating alongside two other Heads of Government, the Prime Minister of St Lucia, Hon. Philip J. Pierre and the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Hon. Gaston Browne.

The summit will convene over 4,000 participants, world leaders, policymakers, international organizations and the foremost thinkers from more than 190 countries.

The Seychelles President has been accompanied on the Dubai trip by the First Lady, Mrs. Linda Ramkalawan and other high-profile government officials.
