Liverpool's Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has reiterated his stand that his contract standoff with the club is not all bout money.
The 29-year-old made the remark in an interview with FourFourTwo ahead of Sunday's Merseyside derby against Everton.
His current deal will enter its final 12 months this summer, but despite speculation throughout the season, his agents have failed to agree to a new deal at the club.
"I have one year left. I think the fans know what I want, but in the contract, it's not everything about the money at all. So I don't know, I can't tell you exactly. I have one year left and the fans know what I want," he said.
"This club means a lot to me – I've enjoyed my football here more than anywhere, I gave the club everything and everybody saw that. I’ve had a lot of unbelievable moments here, winning trophies, individual goals, individual trophies. It's like a family here."
Salah is enjoying a stellar campaign, having scored 30 goals already across all competitions, and with an EFL Cup victory already.
He is the current top scorer in the Premier League with 22 goals from 30 games.
Liverpool is still in contention to win three trophies; the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup.
