The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will visit Moscow next week for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the agency announced on Friday.
The scheduling of the April 26 meeting comes after he said earlier this week that he would pursue meetings with both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Guterres will also have a working meeting and lunch with Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov, said Eri Kaneko, associate spokesperson for the UN chief.
