At least 20 Heads of State are expected in Kenya for Tuesday's inauguration of president-elect William Ruto, the Principal Secretary in the Interior Ministry, Karanja Kibicho, said.
He also noted that some 60,000 people will be allowed in the grounds to witness the swearing-in of the East African country's new leader.
The government already gazetted Tuesday as a national holiday to allow the public to attend the ceremony.
Ruto beat former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in the August 9 elections to be declared the successor of Uhuru Kenyatta, who has completed his constitutionally-mandated two-terms in office.
Odinga challenged Ruto's win at the Supreme Court of Kenya, but the court upheld the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission's declared result.
