Pakistan to launch all-out anti-terrorism operation
Pakistan's top security body on Friday agreed to launch an all-out comprehensive operation to wipe out the menace of terrorism with renewed vigor and determination, said a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.
The decision was taken at the meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and participated by chiefs of the armed forces, intelligence agencies and other military and civil officials.
"All-round and comprehensive operation will be launched by including efforts at the political, diplomatic security, economic and social levels to eliminate the scourge of terrorism in all its forms," the statement said.
The dangerous terrorists damaged peace and stability in Pakistan, the NSC said, reiterating the determination to thwart the nefarious intentions of the enemies of the country.
