Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) and French investment manager Ardian are to acquire almost 38 percent of Heathrow, the London airport's largest shareholder, Ferrovial said on Friday.
Ardian and PIF had offered "to acquire shares representing 37.62 percent of the share capital" for 3.3 billion pounds (4.1 billion U.S. dollars), the Spanish construction giant said, indicating it had accepted the bid.
