At least 14 people were killed and several others wounded when Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF) shelled the Abu Shouk displacement camp in North Darfur on Wednesday, according to local volunteer rescuers. The attack marks the second major assault on the camp in three weeks.
Abu Shouk, near the North Darfur state capital of El-Fasher, shelters tens of thousands of people displaced by violence both from previous conflicts in Darfur and the current conflict.
