The Golden Panda Awards ceremony, jointly hosted by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the People's Government of Sichuan Province, was held on Saturday evening in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Now in its second edition, the event honored excellence in global film and television across 27 award categories.
Among the top honors, Ne Zha: The Demon Boy Churns the Sea won Best Animation, There's Still Tomorrow received Best Picture, She and Her Girls was awarded Best TV Drama, and A New Kind of Wilderness claimed Best Documentary. CGTN was honored with the Special Contribution Award for International Communication.
According to the organizers, the second Golden Panda Awards attracted 5,343 submissions from 126 countries and regions, reflecting its growing international influence. Permanently based in Sichuan and held biennially, the Golden Panda Awards aim to recognize outstanding global audiovisual works and foster cultural exchange. The event serves as a platform to promote mutual understanding among civilizations and uphold shared human values.
