A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck the waters off Yilan County, China's Taiwan region, on Saturday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The quake was recorded at a depth of 60 km, said CENC.
Footage from Taipei showed buildings shaking during the quake, and parts of the ceiling at Taoyuan International Airport were dislodged.
