Talanta Sports City is a landmark infrastructure project in Nairobi, Kenya, designed to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and meet the requirements for rugby matches. Covering a total area of 45.64 hectares in the urban area of Nairobi, its core function is to serve as the main venue for the opening and closing ceremonies and key matches of the AFCON 2027, while meeting the needs of local comprehensive sports events, cultural activities and public leisure.

It not only carries Kenya's dream of becoming a sports power, but also bears witness to the profound friendship between Chinese and Kenyan builders. Hailed as a model of South-South cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, Talanta Sports City is expected to contribute to the realization of Kenya's sporting vision and boost regional cultural and tourism development.
