Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly reaffirmed Egypt’s support for the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza during an address at the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace held in Washington, D.C..
Speaking on behalf of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Madbouly called for the empowerment of Palestinians to manage their own affairs through the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG).
He also stressed that the committee should be enabled to operate from within the Gaza Strip and across all its areas.
Madbouly underscored the importance of defining clear responsibilities for Gaza’s executive structures to support the work of the national committee. He reiterated Egypt’s continued commitment to training Palestinian police personnel as part of efforts to maintain security in the enclave.
While delivering Egypt’s official address at the meeting, the Prime Minister outlined Cairo’s position on governance, reconstruction, and security arrangements linked to the Gaza ceasefire process.
