Sudanese forces on Thursday launched coordinated ground and air strikes against Rapid Support Forces (RSF) targets across six states, destroying weapons depots, ammunition stores, and drone launch sites.

Local sources say the attacks inflicted heavy casualties on the paramilitary group. Authorities added that the raids were aimed at dismantling air defense systems, logistical hubs, and airstrips as part of a broader strategy to weaken the RSF's combat capabilities.

A spokesperson for the Sudanese Armed Forces said the army and allied groups carried out "decisive strikes" against RSF fighters and affiliated forces across multiple fronts over the past 72 hours.

However, political groups and organizations aligned with the RSF say the strikes also resulted in dozens of civilian casualties.
