Qingdao International Sailing Center, built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, has evolved into a hub for sports, leisure, culture, and tourism.

Sailing has become a defining feature of Qingdao, now one of China's key centers for the sport.

The coastal city in eastern China's Shandong Province is known for its marine heritage, open character, and strong quality of life, consistently ranking among China's" Most Livable Cities.”

Its coastline of more than 900 kilometers and dozens of bays has been shaped through ongoing ecological restoration, balancing environmental protection with public access and recreation.
