The International Criminal Court (ICC) is facing mounting pressure as the United States escalates sanctions against the tribunal and calls on member states to withdraw. Washington accuses the court of overstepping its jurisdiction and threatening American sovereignty, while several African countries have also challenged its impartiality and begun moves to leave.

Robert Nagila explains in this episode of Africa Watch.
