A Xiamen Airlines plane has crash landed at Manila Airport in the Philippines.

Reports indicate that the plane circled manila for about one hour before aborting landing. On a second attempt, the Boeing 737-800 skidded off the runway.

The aftermath of the crash landing left the plane’s left engine detached.

The incident has not however cause a closure of the runway, as flights are still allowed to depart and land.

Emergency evacuation is still on-going.
